Cradle of Aviation Museum
LISMS held our meeting in the Cradle of Aviation Museum at Mitchel Field. After a short business meeting, we had the opportunity to tour the museum after normal hours.

Guest Speaker Julius Cobb, USAAF
Lt. Cobb was a Lead Bombardier on B-17s in the 91st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. He spoke about his experiences during WWII and his missions over Germany.

Mr. Gwynn, of the Cradle of Aviation Museum, spoke about the aviation history of Long Island.
